This kit contains the materials, pattern and instructions to make this beautiful and famous Australian wildflower; a Flowering Gum branch complete with gum leaves, gumnuts and gorgeous fluffy red blossoms.

The branch measures approximately 20cm long x 12cm wide. 

Ideal for the crafter with some sewing experience. There are clear and comprehensive written instructions plus a photographic tutorial on the website (see Tutorials sections)

Your kit has:

- FELT: Colour 1: Green pure wool felt for the Gum Leaves, naturally dyed with organic Indigo and Dock leaves with Iron water.

-FELT: Colour 2: Green pure wool felt for the reverse side of the Gum Leaves, naturally dyed with organic Indigo and Dock leaves.

-FELT: Colour 3: Brown pure wool felt for the Gumnuts, naturally dyed with Walnut Hulls

-THREAD: Red 2ply Finn woollen thread for the Flower Stamens, naturally dyed with Madder Root

-THREAD: Brown 2ply Finn woollen thread for the Stems/Branch, naturally dyed with Walnut Hulls

- THREAD: Green 2 ply Finn woollen embroidery thread for the Leaf Veins, naturally dyed with Goldenrod leaves and organic Indigo

-A pipe cleaner

-Paper pattern

You will need:

-Paper scissors and sharp, small fabric scissors

-Sewing needles and pins

-Cotton sewing thread

-A scrap piece of cardboard or thin card

- A tape measure or 1 metre ruler
