Finn is a fine, very soft, yet durable and lustrous fibre that is also incredibly lightweight. It can be warn straight against your skin ( it isn’t at all prickly or irritating) or made into outer garments such as sweaters, shawls or hats etc.

It is great for textured knits where a crisp stitch is best; such as in knit/purl patterns, in laces or cables or for in defined colour patterns or colourwork knitting.

Care Instructions:

Handwash only with a gentle wool wash such as Earth Choice.

The yarn needs to be handwashed gently (don’t agitate in the water and keep the temperature lower rather than hotter!) as Finn will felt.

Dry flat in the shade

Some bleeding may occur with initial washes, especially Indigo!

Variations in colours are a normal attribute of botanically dyed yarns. If you wish to knit a garment, alternate skeins to avoid patching or striping.

Purchase enough skeins for your project from the same batch number. Variations in colour will occur between different batches.
